The "International Spine Intervention Society" was founded in 1989 in America by representatives of various disciplines (anesthesiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, radiology) for the standardization of fluoroscopically targeted interventions on the spine.

Ongoing development and evaluation of techniques yield a coherent and above all safe plan to ensure optimum efficiency with the most minimal amount of complications possible.

Due to its adherence to the highest quality and safety guidelines, The "Medical Center SchmerzLOS" is entitled to treat with the criteria from the Spine Society. Medical work in accordance to the ÖGIST and the Spine Society serves primarily as a guarantor of the innovative, scientifically established and safe forms of therapy for the patients.
